The company was founded on January 1, 1986 under the trading name KAMMsport. In 2000, the company transformed to a joint-stock company and changed its name to TILAK. The manufacturing programme includes a comprehensive system of clothing from underwear through insulating layer to top layer. TILAK uses exclusive materials such as GORE-TEX®, WINDSTOPPER®, POLARTEC® Power Stretch®, cotton VENTILE®. All production takes place in the Czech Republic. Since 2000, Tilak has been cooperating with the prestigious design studio Acronym in Berlin. The colour concept is prepared for Tilak by the B 612 studio in Stuttgart. Tilak’s production technologies are unique in Europe. Apart from stitching and stitch gluing, also welding technologies, laminating and laser are used.
