The CTF cooling towers are used for carrying-off low potential heat produced in the production process. They use atmospheric cooling with wet technology and forced draft. The heat transfer alone occurs by the counter-current passage of air and warm water in the cooling filling. Air flow is provided by an axial fan. Eliminators prevent droplets from being carried outside the tower space.
The CTF cooling tower is comprised of the following components: bearing steel skeleton, axial fan, diffuser, eliminators, water lines including spray nozzles, cooling filling, collecting pool.
