Mats are made of long ceramic fibres which are stitched through to form strong, compact and well workable mats. Modules are made by compressing mat cut-to-size elements of ceramic fibres and their fixing in the compressed state. After cutting the fixing tapes, the module expands and fills the required space. Modules are made as U-modules, cut-to-size elements are folded, or as I-modules, cut-to-size elements are not folded. Modules can have an inserted anchor or treatment for anchoring from side.
